Nutritional quality analysis of different Moringa provenance in Bale, Southeast Ethiopia

Moringa is a tree with medicinal, nutritional, industrial, and socio-economic values. leaf extracts have potential antihypertensive, antispasmodic, antiulcer, diuretic, hepato-protective cholesterol-lowering activities. The study was conducted to analyze the nutritional quality of different moringa provenances promote best for end users. Field experiments were in Goro Dallo Mena districts Bale located Oromia regional state Ethiopia. Collected samples air-dried at room temperature milled laboratory analysis. According this growing environment did not bring significant variation (P>0.05) average mineral contents like Mg, Zn, P CP content provenances. But significantly higher (P<0.05) Na, K, Ca recorded collected from district, whereas Ash Fe district. On other hand, provenance Bako superior most characters analyzed. However, one Arbaminch Na Zn contents. Provenance Abay Filiklik Ash, K content. rich Cp, Mg sufficient level, while Fe, are level high or double triple optimum when compared nutrient plant material.
